Gettysburg, ranked 11th in the latest IWLCA Div. III poll, pulled away from Dickinson in the second half to record a 16-9 victory.
THE LEADERS

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) scored twice in a 73-second span of the first quarter for her 230th and 231st career goals to tie and break the 30-year-old program record for career goals. She finished the day with three goals and three assists for six points.

• Heidi Schmidt scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Red Devils.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Julia Daly had a hand in all four of Gettysburg's first four goals and the two teams combined to score goals on nine of their first 10 shots. Heidi Schmidt found the back of the net to stake Dickinson to a 1-0 lead just 32 seconds into the game before Daly connected with
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) and
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) 54 seconds apart to turn the one-goal deficit into a one-goal lead with 12:35 on the clock. Schmidt and Grace Kelly then needed less than a minute to each find the back of the net and give the hosts a 3-2 lead. Abby Geary returned the favor and finished a feed from Kelly for a 5-2 lead with 9:40 to play. Daly then went back-to-back for the record-setting goals to pull within 5-4 with 6:41 to play.
• It took until 7:02 showing in the second quarter until another goal found the back of the net.
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) connected with
Riley d'Entremont (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Radnor) to tie the game. Sage Whiteside put the Red Devils back in front with 2:52 on the clock but d'Entremont scored twice in the final two minutes of the first half to complete her hat trick and give the Bullets a 7-6 lead at the intermission.

Sarah Scollin (Orefield, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) goals 22 seconds apart extended the run to four straight and the lead to 9-6 with 12:26 on the third-quarter clock. Grace Kelly snapped a Dickinson drought with 8:30 remaining but
Riley Kenrick (Verona, N.J./Verona) responded of a second feel from
Michaela Kelly and Daly wrapped up her five-point day with 2:39 remaining with an unassisted tally. Quinn Foa cut the deficit to 11-8 with an advantage goal in the final 68 seconds of the period.

Kali McDonnell (Norwich, Vt./Hanover) and Passarello extended the lead to 13-8 with 9:33 to play before Eva Gardner found the back of the net for the lone Red Devil fourth-quarter tally at the 6:11 mark. Kenrick, Passarello and Kelly set the final tally with markers in the last four minutes.
