THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 11th in the latest IWLCA Div. III poll, scored 10 straight goals after Swarthmore rallied to tie the game at 7-all early in the third quarter, ultimately recording an 18-9 victory.

Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) led the Bullets with five goals and three assists to tie her season high with eight points.

Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) opened a first quarter controlled by Gettysburg, staking the hosts to a 1-0 lead just 2:19 into the game.
Julia Daly then found
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) in front of the cage to double the lead just over six minutes later. Daly and
Riley d'Entremont (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Radnor) scored just about a minute apart to make it 4-0 with 5:05 to play.
• Annabel Stifler converted a free-position tally with 13:09 showing to get Swarthmore on the board.
Sarah Scollin (Orefield, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) and Stifler traded markers just 1 minute, 43 seconds apart to keep it a three-goal game with 10:05 on the clock. A
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) eight-meter shot made it 6-2 but Aubree Daugherty answered two minutes later. Kate Fox and Stifler each found the back of the net 17 seconds apart to close the deficit to 6-5. Free-position tallies from
Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal Acadmey) and Stifler kept it a one-goal game at the break.
• A Kela Watts goal with 13:36 to play in the third quarter tied the game for the first time at 7-all but Daly needed just 67 seconds to get the Bullets back on the board and start the game-changing run. Marra found
Riley Kenrick (Verona, N.J./Verona) then Daly off a turnover just 18 seconds later. Another Kenrick tally capped a 3-0 burst in just 48 seconds. A second Kenrick advantage goal with 8:33 to play and a Passarello tally just over a minute later extended the lead to 13-7. Daly capped a run of four advantage goals in 2 minutes, 37 seconds off a feed from Battle. Battle then found the back of the net again and Passarello finished from Daly once again in the final minute of the period to stretch the advantage to nine.
• Scollin took a pass in the middle from d'Entremont and pushed the lead to 17-7 with 13:12 to play. Stifler and Daly exchanged goals just 34 seconds apart before Fox set the final margin with 1:14 on the clcok.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg doubled up Swarthmore in shots 34-17 while also having an 18-11 advantage in draw controls.
