THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg had four innings with five or more runs to help sweep Haverford. The Bullets held on to record the win in game one 10-8 before exploding for 21 hits in the second game as part of an 18-6 victory in six innings.

THE LEADERS
Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) led the Bullets with six hits on the day, including a 4-for-5 game two.
Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie) added a pair of multi-hit games, contributing five on the day with five RBIs.

FOR THE FOES
• Zoe Friedman led the Fords with four hits, rapping out a pair in each game.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Jamie Shaw (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg) led off the opener with a four-pitch walk before a passed ball and wild pitch put her at third. After an Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) walk, Shaw stole home before Bergan scored from third on a fielding error for a 2-0 lead.
• A Renee Laczkowski home run with one out in the third made it 3-0 before Haverford plated four runs in the bottom of the inning to go in front. Zoe Friedman led off with a double before moving to third on a sacrifice. After a fielder's choice cut down the run at the plate, Jocelyn Leal doubled home Addie Sapirstein. A walk and Lauren Martin single made it 3-2 before a wild pitch and walk loaded the bases. Kyra Van Denburgh followed with a single to right to score two runs and turn the one-run deficit into a one-run lead.
• The Fords extended the lead to 5-3 in the fourth on a two-out Sapirstein bunt single, stolen bases and Leal RBI single.
• Three straight singles to start the sixth, including a Lauren Bickler (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) RBI knock, made it 5-4. After a groundout, a Zoe Brennan (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) infield single tied the game before Bickler also came in to score for a 6-5 lead. Bergan and Anika Pelekis added RBI singles to make it 8-5.
• Singles from Bickler and Emily Bakker (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthrone) with one out coupoled with a Brennan knock to center stretched the lead to 10-5 in the visitor seventh.
• Two free passes around a Martin single loaded the bases to start the bottom of the seventh. An RBI groundout with one out and a two-run Friedman single closed the deficit to 10-8 before a double put the tying run on base but a flyout preserved the win.
• In game two, Bergan led off with an infield single before stealing second and taking third on a wild pitch before scoring on a two-out Pelekis single.
• An error, Shelby Preisser single and wild pitch tied the game. A walk and Kama Bode RBI groundout with one out gave the hosts a 2-1 edge.
• Bickler led off the third with a double before scoring on a Lackowski single to tie the game. A Pelekis single put runners at the corners for Abby Todd (Roebling, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional), who had a sacrifice fly for a 3-2 lead. A hit batter and three straight singles pushed the lead to 5-2 before a bases-loaded walk to Bickler made it 6-2.
• A Bode two-out home run in the bottom of the frame made it 6-3 but the Bullets responded with a seven-run top of the fourth. Todd and Lily Mader (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) had back-to-back one-out doubles before back-to-back two-out walks loaded the bases. Bergan cleared the bases with a triple and scored on a Bickler single before Laczkowski went yard for the second time on the day to make it 13-3.
• A Sarah Fan single, Sapirstein bunt single and throwing error cut the margin to 13-4 with two outs in the bottom of the inning. A Preisser single, hit batter and walk closed the deficit to 13-6.
• Bergan and Bickler led off the sixth with singles to ignite another five-run frame. Laczkowski and Pelekis made it four straight singles before a Todd double and Mader single extended the lead to 17-6. Bakker tacked on an 18th run with a sacrifice fly.

THE INSIDE STORY
Lily Mader, Lauren Bickler, Emily Bakker and Zoe Brennan joined Renee Laczkowski and Anika Pelekis with two hits each in game one. Brennan drove in three.
Audrey Bergan, Bickler and Laczkowski all had three hits in game two. Abby Todd, Mader and Bakker each had two. Bergan and Todd chipped in three RBIs apiece.
