SPARKS, Md. – Two members of the Gettysburg women's lacrosse team have been named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America team, released on Wednesday.
Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) earned first-team accolades while
Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) was tabbed honorable mention.
Daly, a senior attacker, was the Centennial Conference (CC) Attacker of the Year. She claimed first-team All-CC honoree for the third straight season and claims her third All-American nod from USA Lacrosse Magazine after being an honorable mention selection in 2024 and second-team honoree in 2025. Starting all 20 games, she leads the team with 64 goals, 31 assists and 95 points. She has also added 19 caused turnovers and 34 ground balls. She has registered six or more points in nine games this season, including a career-high eight goals against Tufts on Mar. 18.
Battle, a sophomore midfielder, earns her first All-America nod after being named second-team all-conference. Starting all 20 games, the draw specialist leads the team and conference with 133 draw controls. She has corralled seven or more draw controls in 12 games, including a program-record 18 in the NCAA first-round game against Husson on Saturday. She has also contributed 22 goals and seven assists to the attack.
The Bullets (14-6, 8-1 CC), who fell 14-12 in the semifinals game at Franklin & Marshall, advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament with wins over Husson and MIT last weekend. Gettysburg travels to Tufts this weekend and will play the host and fourth-ranked Jumbos on Saturday. Game time is 10:30 a.m.
