The Pennella File: A two-year starter at cornerback…One of the senior leaders on an experienced defensive unit…Could also see time at punter.

2010: Played in all 10 games and started the final eight at cornerback…Led the Bullets with 10 pass breakups, making at least one in seven of his eight starts…Finished fifth in the Centennial Conference with 1.10 passes defended per game…Had a season-high three pass breakups against Ursinus…Also made one interception, which he returned 37 yards for a touchdown in a win against Franklin & Marshall…Finished with 20 tackles, posting a season-high of four in wins over Dickinson and F&M.

2009: Played in nine games, starting the final seven at cornerback…Finished seventh on the team with 37 tackles…Led the squad with five pass breakups…Made his first collegiate interception in a win at Moravian and returned it 54 yards for a touchdown…Posted a career-high eight tackles to go with three pass breakups at Franklin & Marshall…Also dealt seven hits against Dickinson...Averaged 32.8 yards on four punts. 

2008: Took 23 of the team’s 32 punts…His season-long punt – also the first of his career – went for 47 yards…Also kicked off against Moravian, averaging 51.6 yards on seven attempts...Caught an 11-yard pass for a first down on a fake punt against Franklin & Marshall…Also made two tackles on special teams. 

High School: Played football and baseball at Bridgewater-Raritan H.S…Was a receiver, defensive back, kicker, and punter on the gridiron under head coach Scott Bray…Played second base and outfield for the baseball team for head coach Max Newell…Set a school record for the longest field goal…Named all-conference, all-county, and all-area…Served as a team captain…A member of the National Honor Society.
