The Douthett File: Coming off his first season as a starter at defensive end…Will look to move back into the starting lineup as one of the unit’s senior leaders…A converted linebacker.

2010: Played in eight games at defensive end, making seven starts…Missed a pair of games due to injury but tied for eighth on the team with 29 tackles…Also notched 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one fumble recovery, and a blocked kick…Made a career-high seven stops (five solo) in an overtime loss at Muhlenberg… Notched his first collegiate sack against Ursinus…Blocked a field goal to force a second OT in the Bullets’ triple-overtime loss at McDaniel.

2009: Missed much of the early part of the season with an injury…Returned to play three games against Moravian, McDaniel, and Franklin & Marshall on special teams. 

2008: Did not appear in any varsity games. 

High School: A three-sport athlete at the Peddie School, competing in football (offensive line, middle linebacker, punter), basketball (forward), and lacrosse (defenseman)…Named all-conference and all-county in both football and lacrosse…Was also an all-state pick in lax… An All-State selection as a defenseman in lacrosse…Won the Winant Cup as the Peddie School’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2008. 

Personal: Sister, Whitney, was a midfielder on the U.S. Women’s Elite Lacrosse Team and was a three-time All-America midfielder for Dartmouth College… Born Sept. 4, 1989…Son of John and Deborah Douthett...A management major.
