Biography

Team tri-captain...One of the top all-around competitors in the Centennial Conference...Owns school records in eight individual or relay events...A 14-time Centennial Conference medalist...A transfer from Indian River State College.

2010-11: Centennial Conference individual champion in the 100-freestyle (45.23) and 200-freestyle (1:39.78)...Also anchored winning 200-freestyle (1:23.70), 400-freestyle (3:05.99), and 800-freestyle (6:54.09) relays…In all five victories, school, pool, conference, and meet records were set...Also achieved NCAA “B” cuts individually in 100 and 200…Claimed the bronze and broke the school record in the 50-free (21.09)…Went on to compete in all three sprints at the NCAA Division III Championships, placing 21st in the 200, 24th in the 100, and 40th in the 50...Won 14 of his 17 individual, non-exhibitioned races throughout the season prior to NCAAs...Went undefeated in the 100-free before NCAAs, winning the event in seven straight races.

2009-10: Medaled in all seven events in which he competed at the Centennial Conference Championship and captured golds in the 100-freestyle (45.73), 100-butterfly (51.27) and the 200-freestyle relay (1:25.52)...Set school records and achieved NCAA “B” cuts in both the 100-free and the 100-backstroke...Also set a conference record in the 100 free...Won the CC silver medal in the 100-backstroke and 800-freestyle relay, and the bronze medal in the 400-freestyle relay and 400-medley relay...Won 23 of his 27 dual meet events, finishing second in the other four...Had the team’s best time in the 100- and 200- freestyle, the 200-IM, the 100-butterfly, and 100-backstroke, and the second-best time in the 50-freestyle and 200-butterfly.

2008-09: Helped Indian River win the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) title...Finished second at the NJCAA Championships in the 100- and 200-backstroke. 

High School: Participated in swimming at Cheverus High School… Earned all-state recognition..Served as a team captain.
