Biography

2012-13: Member of the silver-medal winning 400-medley relay team and 200-medley relay team that captured he bronze at the Centennial Conference Championships…Also posted fifth-place finishes in 100-breaststroke and 200-breaststroke….Won the 100-breaststroke against McDaniel and at Franklin & Marshall…Finished with personal season-best times of 2:02.87 in the 200-IM, 1:00.57 in the 100-breaststroke, and a team-best 2:11.98 in the 200-breaststroke.

2011-12: Placed sixth in the 200-breaststroke, ninth in the 200-medley relay, 10th in the 400-medley relay, and 14th in the 100-breaststroke at the Centennial Conference Championships…Swam to a second-place finish in the 200-breaststroke at Mary Washington…Finished with personal season-best times of 31.35 in the 50-breaststroke, 1:02.45 in the 100-breaststroke, 2:14.83 in the 200-breaststroke, and 2:02.58 in the 200-IM.

High School: Competed in swimming and water polo at the Haverford School…Named all-district and served as a team captain for head coach Sean Hansen…Was a finalist at Easterns in the 200-IM…Also earned All-Delco honorable mention as a junior and senior.

Family Connections: Father, Bill Nelligan, played lacrosse at Ithaca College.
