OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT: The Bullets opened the season with a 4-1 victory, matching its high-water mark for goals in a game from all of 2022 in just the first contest of 2023. Five different Gettysburg players scored a goal in game one, including Gaby Markunas and Katie Regan each scoring their first collegiate goals.

LAST TIME OUT: Megan Knee and Zoë Nelson scored first-half goals that staked Ohio Wesleyan to a 2-0 lead, and the Bishops went on to defeat Juniata 2-1 on Friday night. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ROAD WARRIORS: Ohio Wesleyan is starting the season with five straight road games. After a pair on the road this weekend at Juniata and Gettysburg, the Battling Bishops head to Sewanee for two next weekend. Ohio Wesleyan is then at Houghton in Upstate New York on Sept. 16 before finally playing a game in Delaware, Ohio on Sept. 19 in the NCAC opener.
