Gettysburg College Athletics

Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 71st all-time meeting between Gettysburg (3-3-4, 0-2-1 CC) and Muhlenberg (6-2-2, 2-0-1 CC) in a series that dates back to 1949. The Bullets hold 38-24-8 advantage in the series but the Mules are 3-0-1 in the last four matchups. The last Gettysburg win was a 2-1 victory in 2019.

LAST TIME OUT: Dickinson, ranked ninth, took a 3-1 lead before needing a goal in the 70th minute to break a 3-all deadlock and defeat Gettysburg 4-3 on Wednesday. Sergio Fraguas Neto tied the game for the Bullets in the 65th minute. Ethan Jarden recorded the game-winner to complete his hat trick for the Red Devils. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

GETTING OFFENSIVE: The Bullets have scored 12 goals in the last three games after tallying just seven in the first seven games of the year. Chase Sempervive has led the charge during the latest run of offense, contributing five of his team-high eight goals over the last three outings. The senior scored twice in each game last week to claim Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.

ON A ROLL: The Mules are unbeaten in their last five games, posting a 4-0-1 mark since a 1-0 loss at DeSales on Sept. 11. Muhlenberg has scored multiple goals in three of those four wins and are one of just three teams that remain unbeaten in Centennial Conference play. The Mules have received goals from nine different players this season and offensive contributions from 12 players. No player has more than two goals or seven points.
