Today's non-conference game marks the 52nd all-time meeting between Gettysburg (6-1) and Elizabethtown (4-3) in a series that dates back to 1952. The Bullets hold a 25-18-8 advantage in the all-time series but the teams have not met since 2011, when the Blue Jays recorded a 6-1 victory. The last Gettysburg win was a 1-0 overtime win in 2009.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg dropped a 6-1 non-conference decision at Elizabethtown on Oct. 5, 2011. The Blue Jays received three goals from Erin Meanix while Nadine Yunginger notched two goals and two assists.

LAST TIME OUT: For the fourth time in seven games this season, Gettysburg played an overtime game. For the third time in those games, the Bullets were the ones to record the game-winner – this time defeating Bridgewater 1-0 last Wednesday. Cassie DeBlieck broke up the double shutout with the game-winning tally for the Bullets. Madalyn Miller and Ashley Nau combined to make five saves for the Eagles in goal. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

WORKING EXTRA: Gettysburg has played seven games this season. In four of those games, 60 minutes was not enough to decide the outcome of the game. The Bullets are 3-1 in overtime games this season. Last Wednesday at Bridgewater was the first time that a Gettysburg game went to overtime in a scoreless tie. The line overtime loss came at No. 20 Shenandoah in the final two minutes of the second overtime. All three wins have come in the first 10-minute extra session. Three different players have scored the overtime winner for the Bullets. Bella Bonazinga won the Alvernia game while Morgan Cherry had the game-winner at Ohio Wesleyan. Then on Wednesday at Bridgewater, it was Cassie DeBlieck finding the cage in the extra time.

LAST TIME OUT: First year Meadow Keet scored her second game-winning goal of the week as Elizabethtown shut out Lycoming 1-0 in the Landmark Conference opener on Saturday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

KEEPING IT CLOSE: Of the Blue Jays' seven games this season, five have been decided by a single goal, including each of the last three. Elizabethtown's two non-one goal have both been 4-0 road defeats at nearby opponents, falling to Lebanon Valley in the opener and Franklin & Marshall on Sept. 11. The Blue Jays are 4-1 in one-goal games. The one loss was a 1-0 setback against Stevenson. Etown has yet to score a goal in a loss this season but is undefeated when scoring at least one goal.
