FIRST PITCHES: 
- Friday's non-conference game marks the fourth all-time meeting between No. 21 Gettysburg (15-0) and Gwynedd Mercy (6-9) in a series that dates back to 2019. The Bullets have won the last two meetings to hold a 2-1 edge in the all-time series. The Griffins won the initial meeting - game one of a doubleheader on Mar. 24, 2019.
- Saturday's doubleheader is the 13th and 14th meetings between Gettysburg and Mt. Aloysius (11-3) in a series that dates back to 2007. The Bullets lead the all-time series, including wins in the last two meetings.
- Sunday's twinbill marks the 14th and 15th meetings between Gettysburg and Penn State-Berks (3-11) in a series that dates back to 2012. The Bullets lead the all-time series 9-4 and won 29-15 last season. 

WHEN LAST WE MET: A third-inning, three-run home run staked Gettysburg to a 3-0 lead and the pitching staff held Gwynedd Mercy down to secure a 3-2 victory last season. Cole Wong fanned six and allowed just one run on three hits in five innings on the mound. Jack Pistner provided all the offense that was needed with his third home run of the season. LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg scored six runs in the third inning to key a 13-3 victory over Stevenson on Wednesday. Jack Burke reached base all five times to lead the Bullets, scoring five runs. He was 3-for-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch. Brandon Perillo reached base all three times for the Mustangs with a single and two walks. He also had an RBI. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

AMONG THE RANKS: Gettysburg entered the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Div. III poll at 21st when the Week 3 ranking was released on Monday night. The Bullets are in the poll for the first time since the 2014 season and off to the best start in program history with 14 straight victories to start the year. Gettysburg has the longest winning streak in Division III and is one of three teams in Division III that remains undefeated with a minimum of five games played.

TOP HEAVY: The top two hitters in the Gettysburg lineup reached base all 10 times against Stevenson on Wednesday. Jack Burke went 3-for-3 with a walk and was also hit by a pitch. He also scored five runs on the day. Will Stellato was 4-for-4 with a walk. Burke enters the weekend as the top hitter on the Bullets squad, hitting .481 on the year from the leadoff spot. He has 26 hits and has scored 28 runs.

LAST TIME OUT: Gwynedd Mercy welcomed Rosemont on Wednesday, securing a 10-5 victory after scoring three runs in each the sixth and seventh innings. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

THE END OF A STRETCH: After hosting Notre Dame on Thursday, Gwynedd Mercy wraps up a stretch of three games in three days with the Friday afternoon road game. The stretch opened with a win over Rosemond, snapping a 1-5 stretch that ended a two-win trip to the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational last week. The Griffins then take the rest of the weekend off before hosting Salisbury on Tuesday for its final non-conference tuneup before Atlantic East play starts next weekend. Gwynedd was picked third in the conference's preseason poll and opens the schedule with preseason favorite Marymount. 

LAST TIME OUT: Mount Aloysius wrapped up its sprint trip on Wednesday with the finale of three straight games against Plymouth State, 8-5. The Mounties finished up their week winning all three games against the Panthers and running their winning streak up to eight. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ON A ROLL: Mount Aloysius has won eight straight games, dating back to a 17-7 loss at Shenandoah on Mar. 4. The Mounties have held their opponents to seven runs or fewer in all 11 wins this season but have allowed nine or more in their three losses.

LAST TIME OUT: Muhlenberg scored a run in each of the first three innings to take an early lead en route to a 21-7 win at Penn St. Berks on Wednesday. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

300 CLUB: The Lions have three hitters who enter the weekend with a .300 average or better. Isaiah Dull leads the way with a .375 batting average. He has six extra-base hits (three doubles, one triple, two home runs) among his 15 hits for a .650 slugging percentage. He has also driven in a team-high 12 runs. Andrew Seibert is hitting .364 with a team-best 20 knocks.
