Prior to the game, Gettysburg's 11 seniors were honored in a brief ceremony, followed by the national anthem and a military fly-over courtesy of United States Marine Corp's Capt. Lee Hemming '99, a former First Team All-America midfielder. Hemming and his co-pilot, Lt. Brian Harp, were in town in support of the "Annual Wounded Warrior Bike Ride" from Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland to Gettysburg. The 110-mile bike ride honors and actively includes service members who have been severely injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.
