The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the quarterfinal round to face the winner of the second-round match-up between No. 3 Roanoke and No. 14 Denison.

Ticket prices for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and $1 for children ages 3-12. Children under 3 are admitted for free.

The Bullets (13-3) gained an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament by virtue of their Centennial Conference championship, their sixth in a row and 13th overall. Gettysburg is 17-18 all-time in the NCAA tournament and has advanced as far as the national championship game, finishing as the runner-up in 2001 and 2002.

In the Centennial Conference championship game, the Bullets were led by junior Josh Reichert (Englewood, Colo./Kent School), who scored all four of his goals in the first half, including the team's first three as Gettysburg jumped out to a 3-0 first-quarter lead. Senior Zach Pucci (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) added two goals and three assists for the Orange & Blue.

The Bullets enter the NCAA Tournament riding an 11-game winning streak, the team's longest since 2002. The team has received balanced scoring this season and leads the Centennial Conference with 10.88 goals per game. Pucci leads the team with 30 goals while Reichert has struck 25 times. Junior Joe Brody (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) is tops on the team with 26 assists while Centennial Conference Player of the Year, senior midfielder Tom O'Donnell (Montgomeryville, Pa./La Salle College) has contributed 16 goals and 15 assists.

Gettysburg leads the conference in defense, boasting a 7.19 goals-against average. Senior goalie Zach Furshman (Miami, Fla./Kent School [Conn.]) has posted a 6.79 GAA, ranking ninth in Division III, while senior long-stick midfielder Tommy Kehoe (Coraopolis, Pa./Sewickley Academy) was named first-team all-conference for the third year in a row.

Like Gettysburg, the Generals (16-3) earned an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament, downing top-ranked and previously undefeated Roanoke College 15-14 in overtime in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) championship game.

Washington & Lee advanced to the second-round after topping FDU-Florham 6-5 in overtime Wednesday evening. Junior Will Keigler scored the game-winner with just 10 seconds left in the extra session. The Generals led 4-2 at halftime only to see the Devils take a 5-4 lead with 4:58 remaining. But senior Tim Skeen scored with 4:22 on the clock to send the game to OT.

The Generals are making their ninth appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and their first since 2004. W&L also competed in the NCAA Division I Tournament eight times and reached the semifinals three straight years from 1973-75. The Generals have also reached the Division III semifinals on three occasions.

W&L has been led this season by senior midfielder Harry St. John, the ODAC Player of the Year. St. John has scored 26 goals to rank third among the Generals. Junior Will Keigler has piled up a whopping 75 points on 41 goals and 34 assists while senior Seth Fishman has fired in 47 goals.

On the defensive end, senior Connor Locke has been the goalie of record in every game and sports a ODAC-leading 7.42 goals-against average. W&L has also received outstanding play on face-offs, winning 64.8 percent of the time at the X.
