Nina Emala (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) posted career bests with eight points and seven goals to lead the sixth-ranked Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team past host Cabrini College 20-3 Wednesday night.
Gettysburg (9-1) was not caught looking ahead to its weekend match up with No. 6 The College of New Jersey, although Cabrini (4-5) did force a 2-2 tie just 1:40 into the contest following back-to-back goals by Erin Nollen. Junior
Marnie Commins (Fairfax Station, Va./Robinson) broke the deadlock at 27:23 off a feed from Emala, who followed up with her own personal four-goal scoring run over the next 19 minutes.
The Bullets scored each of the next 16 goals after the tie before the Cavaliers tossed in their final goal with just over 10 minutes to play in the game.
Emala tied her previous personal high for points by halftime and added a goal in the second half to establish a new mark. She had scored seven points in a game six times in her career, including twice this spring. Her lone assist broke a tie with Jamie Giffuni '08 for sixth on Gettysburg's career list with 64.

Jessica Crane (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln-Sudbury) and Commins each scored two goals and two assists and despite not scoring a goal for the first time in 30 games, senior
Hollis Stahl (Hightstown, N.J./Peddie School) dished out a personal best three assists and grabbed five draw controls.

The Bullets will face TCNJ in Ewing, N.J., on Saturday, April 3, at 1 p.m. Last season, the Lions pulled off a thrilling 11-10 victory over Gettysburg during the regular season, but the Bullets returned the favor with a 10-9 win in the regional finals of the NCAA Tournament..
