COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Gettysburg outscored Ursinus College 3-0 in the fourth quarter and the Bullets rallied to win a tight 7-5 Centennial Conference road contest Saturday afternoon.
In a game that was tied three times, senior #J.C. Ward# scored the game-tying and go-ahead goals for the Bullets (7-5, 3-2 CC), who played without head coach
Hank Janczyk on the sidelines. Janczyk left the field after feeling under the weather before the start of the game but assistant coaches

Eric Seideman remained to lead Gettysburg.
Sophomore #J.T. McCook# tied a career-high with 14 saves and picked up a career-best 10 ground balls to lead a Gettysburg defense that has now limited 11 of its 12 opponents to a single-digit goal total this season. It was also the fourth time this year an opponent failed to score over five goals against the Bullets.

John Odierna caused four turnovers.
Jeff Ocampo scored two goals for Ursinus (8-3, 3-2 CC) while Josh Baker made 13 saves.
Gettysburg trailed 5-4 heading into the fourth quarter and still faced a one-goal deficit before Ward tied it with 6:47 left. He then notched his second game-winning goal of the season when he struck with 3:24 showing. Tesar provided an insurance tally when he scored with 54 seconds to go.
The Bears never trailed over the first three quarters and held a 1-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, with Ocampo providing the only offense of the first 15 minutes with a goal at the 7:00 mark.

Chris Cahill with 8:51 left in the opening half. Freshman
Martin Manilla pulled the Bullets even nearly three minutes later off a pass from Tesar before Jordan Demcher put up the hosts up 3-2 at the half when he scored with 2:09 on the clock.
Ocampo gave Ursinus its second two-goal lead 1:11 into the second half. However, the Bullets pulled even after scoring a pair of quick back-to-back goals to tie it again. Freshman
Austin Dodson notched his first collegiate goal with 12:27 left in the third quarter, with Tesar again providing the assist, before senior
Ben Engleman tallied his second goal of the year 2:13 later. However, the Bears reclaimed the lead when Taylor Allen converted a man-up goal to make it a 5-4 game heading into the final quarter.
Gettysburg resumes its Centennial Conference schedule next Saturday, when it hosts Washington College at 5 p.m. at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.
