QUICK HITS
1. Susquehanna joined the Centennial Conference as an associate member for football in 2010. Prior to that season, the two schools had not met in football since 1922.
2. The last three meetings have featured some offensive fireworks, with the Bullets outscoring the Crusaders by an average of 50-43.
3. The last two games played in Gettysburg between these two teams have lacked nothing in drama. In 2010, the Bullets rallied from a 50-27 deficit with 18 minutes left to win 61-50. One year later, the Crusaders made a two-point conversion on the final play of the game, rallying from 11 points down in the fourth quarter to win 56-55 in overtime.
SERIES HISTORY
Gettysburg and Susquehanna are meeting for just the 11th time, with the Bullets holding a 6-3-1 lead in the all-time series. Gettysburg has captured two of the last three meetings.
LAST TIME OUT
Juniata jumped out to a 28-9 halftime advantage, then held off Gettysburg in the second half as the undefeated Eagles downed the Bullets 38-16 last Saturday in a game played in a steady rain. Each team piled up over 300 yards of offense, with the Eagles outgaining the Bullets 477-325. However, Juniata forced four Gettysburg turnovers and recorded five sacks. Senior

SCOUTING SUSQUEHANNA
Offensively, Susquehanna has averaged over twice as many yards through the air (176.7 ypg) as it has on the ground (80.0 ypg). Sophomore quarterback Taylor Kolmer took over as the starter in Week Two and has passed for 104.7 yards per game and one touchdown without throwing an interception. HALFTIME RECOGNITION
Eight of Gettysburg's newest inductees into the Hall of Athletic Honor - Andrew Barter '00, Tracy Blasius '95, Kelly Brennan Keane '00, Joe Donolli, Colleen Dunn '96, Steph Fisher Tanner '00, Nate Grim '98, and Dick Simpson '59 - will be recognized at halftime of Saturday's game. They will be officially inducted into the HOAH Friday night.
RECORD BREAKER
With his two touchdown catches against Ursinus two weeks ago, senior receiver
Aden Twer broke Gettysburg's oldest major football record. His 4-yard grab with 4:06 left upped his career total for TD receptions to 19 - one more than Ken Snyder '65 accumulated from 1962-64, when freshmen were not eligible for varsity competition. Two years ago, Twer also broke Snyder's single-season touchdown reception record that had stood since 1964 when he made 12 TD catches, and he became just the second Bullet to post 1,000 receiving yards in a season, finishing with 1,079 to finish behind only Chris Notarfrancesco's 1,115 in 1994. Twer also comes into Saturday's game ranked fourth in school history in career receiving yards (1,618) and seventh in career receptions (85).

Gettysburg is coached by
Barry Streeter, now in his 35th year at the helm of the Bullets. With 175 career victories, Streeter is eighth among active Division III coaches in wins. In addition, his 105 Centennial Conference football wins are second in conference history.
