GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women's track and field team will compete at the Centennial Conference Indoor Championships in a two-day meet Saturday and Sunday at Franklin & Marshall College.

Schedule
The events will start taking place on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the women's weight throw and women's triple jump happening first. On Sunday, the first event will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the men's heptathlon 60-meter hurdles. A complete schedule of events can be found on the

Championship History
The Bullets won the first-ever Centennial Conference Indoor Championship in 1994, beating runner-up Haverford College by 30 points. Gettysburg reclaimed the crown in 1995, edging out Haverford by two points. Since then, the women's team has finished second twice, placed third three times, and claimed fourth eight times.
Johns Hopkins University, who enters the conference championship ranking sixth in Division III, has captured nine-straight conference titles. Prior to the Blue Jays, Haverford won five conference crowns in a row from 2006-10.
Last Season's Championship Meet
Johns Hopkins registered its ninth consecutive conference title, scoring a conference record 249.5 points in the two-day meet. Swarthmore College finished second with 97 points and Dickinson College placed third with 92 points. The Blue Jays also notched three of the conference's four major awards with Caelyn Reilly earning Outstanding Track Performer, Maya Hammonds earning Outstanding Field Performer, and Bobby Van Allen earning Coach of the Year honors. The Outstanding Rookie award went to Corrin Ferrizzi from Muhlenberg College. The Bullets had several sixth and seventh placemarks at last year's championship meet.

Regional Rankings
In the latest NCAA Division III Mideast Regional rankings, as released on Tuesday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, Johns Hopkins grabbed the top spot. The other Centennial Conference schools making the list were Swarthmore (sixth), Dickinson (eighth), Muhlenberg (18th), Ursinus (19th), Bryn Mawr (21st), Haverford (23rd), Franklin & Marshall (26th), McDaniel (39th), and Gettysburg (40th).
