NEW ORLEANS, La. – Gabrielle Thiry (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Country Day School), a freshman on the Gettysburg women's outdoor track and field team, has been named to All-Mid-Atlantic Region team, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently.

Thiry posted the No. 5 time in the region in the 10,000 meters with a time of 37:24.49 at the Millersville Metrics on Friday, Apr. 3 to win the race. She posted three individual victories across the distance events this spring and finished in the top three in every race she finished.

The top five athletes in each individual event and top three relays in each region earn all-region honors.
