Men’s Lax Climbs D3 Poll, Washington Game Rescheduled

Bullets slide up three spots to seventh in national poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Gettysburg College men's lacrosse team moved up three spots in the latest NCAA Division III Coaches' Poll released by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). Additionally, the Bullets rescheduled their outing at Washington College for April 20 at 4 p.m.
 
Gettysburg (2-0) went from No. 10 to No. 7 in the most recent edition of the national poll following the team's overtime win over then-No. 13 Ursinus College (1-1) on Saturday. The Bullets picked up 268 total points and trailed sixth-ranked Cabrini University (4-1) by just five points.
 
The same teams remained among the top six with Tufts University (1-0) swapping spots with York (Pa.) College (9-0) for third and fourth, respectively. RIT (4-0) remained in the pole position with 15 first-place votes and 412 points. Salisbury University (8-1) was No. 2 with two first-place votes and 372 points, while the Jumbos scooped up the remaining four first-place votes.
 
The Centennial Conference features three nationally-ranked teams with Ursinus and Franklin and Marshall College (3-0) sitting 14th and 15th, respectively.
 
Gettysburg also rescheduled its game at Washington that was originally set for March 20. The game will now be played on Tuesday, April 20, at 4 p.m.
