LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior Jack Fletcher (Charlotte, N.C./Providence Day School) picked up his first career weekly honor from the Centennial Conference as the Offensive Player of the Week it was announced on Tuesday, April 13.
 
Fletcher led Gettysburg (2-0) to a victory over defending conference champion and 13th-ranked Ursinus College (1-1) last Saturday. The senior tallied a hat trick for the Bullets and ended the contest in dramatic fashion, out-maneuvering the Bear defense to score the game-winning goal with eight seconds left in overtime.
 
Fletcher has scored a goal in each of his last 17 games and he has scored at least one point in 26-straight contests. He is the second Gettysburg senior to earn his first weekly award from the conference this spring. Senior defenseman Andrew Horn (Bronxville, N.Y./Avon Old Farms) earned his first weekly defensive honor last week.
 
Gettysburg, which has climbed to seventh in the national poll, faces Washington College on Tuesday, April 20, at 4 p.m. in Chestertown, Md. No fans will be allowed at athletic contests hosted by Centennial Conference institutions this spring. All home lacrosse games at Gettysburg will be streamed live through the Centennial Conference Digital Network.
