All-Centennial Conference Team
LANCASTER, Pa. – Five members of the Gettysburg College women's track and field team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) Team for their performances at the CC outdoor meet on May 1.
The conference recognizes all individual and relay team gold medalists with first-team recognition while individual and relay runner-ups are named to the second team. Individual third-place finishers receive honorable mention.

Katherine Mangione (Doylestown, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie), and freshmen
Holly Ferrara (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) and
Alexa Schauder (Cedar Knolls, N.J./Whippany Park) all earned honorable mention and each captured their first all-conference accolade.
Gettysburg finished fourth among seven teams at the meet, which marked the second time in four seasons the Bullets' finished among the top four at a Centennial Conference women's track and field championship.
Bianco Riley had her best hammer performance of her career at the CC championship. She heaved a personal-record mark of 120-10 to claim the bronze medal out of 17 competitors. The senior captain's performance broke her previous PR mark by over four inches and moved her into seventh in school history in the event.
O'Brien collected her first career bronze medal in the 10,000-meter run, clocking a season-best 40:10.15.
In the discus, Mangione posted a PR mark of 110-06 on her final attempt to earn the bronze medal out of 18 competitors. Her previous PR was 106-08 that she set earlier in the season at the Dickinson Quad Invite.
Ferrara launched her best attempt on the final throw in the javelin (120-02) to register her first bronze medal out of 14 competitors. For three consecutive weeks, she set a PR in the event.
Schauder notched her first bronze medal in the pole vault with a 9-00.25 mark. At the home invite the weekend before, the freshman moved into tied for third all-time in the pole vault with a PR mark of 9-06.25.
