Gettysburg College Athletics

Tonight's non-conference game marks the sixth all-time meeting between Gettysburg (3-3-2) and Misericordia (2-5-1) in a series that dates back to 1994. The Cougars lead the all-time series 2-1-2 with wins in the last two matchups in 2012 and 2013. The lone Bullets victory was by a 1-0 margin in Dallas in 2010.

LAST TIME OUT: Muhlenberg, ranked 22nd in the latest poll, raced out to a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a 5-1 win over Gettysburg on Saturday night. Chase Sempervive scored the lone goal for the Bullets. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

CHASING THE BALL: Chase Sempervive scored his team-leading fourth goal on Saturday. He is currently tied for sixth in the CC with his four tallies. Half of his four goals this season have come in the first four conference games. 

LAST TIME OUT: Lebanon Valley, ranked 13th, scored four goals in the final 20 minutes to rally to a 5-2 win over Misericordia in the MAC Freedom opener on Saturday. Alfred Romano scored both goals for the Cougars. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

THREE OF A KIND: After three straight 2-1 losses in mid-September, Misericordia has dropped two of its last three games by three goals each. The stretch started with a 4-1 loss at Widener on Sept. 23 before a midweek 1-0 victory over Cabrini last week and Saturday's 5-2 home loss to Lebanon Valley in the MAC Freedom opener. Six different Cougars have contributed the team's 10 goals this season - one of which was an own goal.
