Today's Centennial Conference (CC) match marks the 47th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (18-4, 5-1 CC) and Ursinus (9-12, 1-5 CC) in a series that dates back to 1978. The Bullets have won all previous 46 matchups.

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg completed a sweep of McDaniel 3-0 on Wednesday. Mary Huegel put down eight blocks and six kills to go with a career-high-tying seven aces. HEAD OF THE CLASS: Kylie Ulrich and Mary Huegel swept CC Players of the Week honors last week. Ulrich earned the Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks while Huegel snagged the Defensive Player of the Week accolades for the first time this season. Ulrich led the Bullets to a pair of key conference wins on the week, averaging 3.50 kills over eight sets and hit .250. She knocked down 16 kills in a 3-1 win at Franklin & Marshall and 12 in a 3-1 win at Swarthmore. She also had four total blocks on the week. Huegel averaged 1.38 blocks per set, knocking down 11 total blocks in the pair of 3-1 wins. In the win over Franklin & Marshall, she had six block assists to go with five kills. On Saturday, she tallied five blocks to go with nine kills. She hit .273 on the week with 14 kills and three aces.

DEALING ACES: Mary Huegel served up a career-high-tying seven aces in Wednesday night's win over McDaniel as part of a 10-ace outing as a team for Gettysburg. It was the fifth time this season that the Bullets have served up double-digit aces as a team. Huegel leads the team with 34 aces while Halle Feth has 31.

LAST TIME OUT: Ursinus dropped a five-set match (25-23,19-25, 28-26,19-25, 9-15) to Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday. Caroline Sherman led the Bears with a team-high 15 kills and completed a double-double with 11 digs. Mel Eglinton posted eight kills and 11 digs while sophomore Erin Dychdala led the Bears with 19 digs and 16 assists. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

KILLIN' IT: Caroline Sherman has recorded 305 kills to lead the Ursinus attack this season. She has knocked down double-digit kills in 18 of the 21 matches, including 20 or more twice. She has done it on 822 attack attempts. She enters the weekend with nearly 50 more kills and 200 more swings than any other conference hitter.
