• The Spartans exploded for the first eight points of the second half to take a 39-37 lead, leading to a Gettysburg timeout with 16:28 remaining. The Bullets missed their first seven field-goal attempts of the half before
Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./St. Joseph Hammonton) connected on the second of two free throws with 15:49 showing for the first points of the stanza. A McKeon 12-foot baseline jumper put Gettysburg back in front on the next possession. The teams traded points until Aleks Smith scored on a pick-and-roll for a 47-44 lead with 11:12 to play. McKeon momentarily halted a 10-0 run with a layup that snapped a 5-minute, 20-second scoreless drought. Kai Cipalla immediately responded on the other end, however, to push the lead back to nine. The Bullets then reeled off a 10-2 run to close to within 57-56 on a McKeon second-chance baby hook with 4:33 to play. A Williams triple off an inbounds play put the visitors in front with 71 seconds later, 61-60. A Chris Miers 3-pointer and Jackson Mascari layup regained the lead for York 65-61 with 1:44 remaining before Williams drained a kickout trey, making it a one-point game with 1:17 to play.
• Two Williams free throws with 52.9 seconds gave Gettysburg a 66-65 edge before the teams traded empty possessions. Williams then canned two more from the charity stripe with 12.7 seconds on the clock. After York did not take a quick shot on the other end, the Bullets opted to give the foul and force a 1-and-1 attempt with 3.3 ticks. Mascari hit the front end before a timeout to setup the intentional miss and putback, which the Spartans executed with Rowe getting the tip-in with 1.9 seconds remaining to ultimately force overtime.
• The teams traded baskets to start the extra session before a Williams 3-pointer gave the Bullets a 73-72 edge with 3:05 to play. A McKeon layup stretched the lead to three before Cipalla hit the first of two free throws with 1:48 showing and then connected on a driving layup with 38.9 ticks on the clock to knot the game for the 11th time. A shot clock violation was called on a would-be go-ahead 3-pointer before a foul was called on a baseline drive gave the Bullets two free throws with 13.8 seconds left but they missed both to send the game to a second overtime.
• Tied at 80-all after an exchange of baskets, Williams swished a trey from the top of the key with 1:30 left for an 83-80 lead. McKeon stretched the lead to five with a baby hook from the left side with 31.9 seconds remaining. After a timeout with 28.8 seconds left, Rowe drove the lane and scored with 24.2 ticks. After two Schaller free throws with 11.1 seconds left, Capella hit a layup with 7.7 seconds to play and McKeon hit the second of two free throws with 1.8 ticks to seal the victory.
