David Preziuso and
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) drew back-to-back walks to start the home half of the frame. After a double steal,

• Spadafora sat down the first nine hitters in order and the offense went back to work in the bottom of the third. A one-out Kirby double, wild pitch, and back-to-back two-out walks loaded the bases.
Mabret Levant (Lakeville, Pa./Wallenpaupack Area) drew a third straight walk to force in Kirby and Preziuso followed with a two-run single to left field for a 6-0 advantage.
