THE SKINNY STORY
Vassar edged out to a 4-0 lead in the third inning and never looked back, tacking on 16 runs to Gettysburg's four.
THE LEADERS
•
Matthew Peipher (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Twp.) scored the Bullets' first run of the day with a home run that sailed over the left field side of the fence.

Liam Gregory (Glenmont, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) had a 2-for-2 day and notched the Bullets' only other extra-base hit.
•
Emmanuel Ajewole (Floral Park, N.Y./Stony Brook School) also went 2-for-2 at the plate.
FOR THE FOES
• Pitcher Ryan Harris pitched five innings, only allowing two hits and one earned run, and also throwing six strikeouts.
• Jaden Millstein led the Brewers' offense with a triple, four runs scored, and two RBIs.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• A walk and wild pitch advanced Jaden Millstein to second base early in the top of the first, and a Vassar single brought him in for the first run of the game. In the bottom of the first, Vassar pitcher Ryan Harris walked two and struck out two to escape cleanly.
• A walk in the top of the third put Millstein on base, and Andrew Kanellis homered to plate two more runs for the Brewers. A stolen base, groundout, and single scored them their third of the third inning. In the next two half innings, three quick outs were recorded to bring the bottom of the fourth.

Matthew Peipher crushed an 0-1 pitch for a home run, marking the Bullets' first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth. With the score 4-1 at the top of the fifth, Vassar worked to extend their lead by notching four hits for two more runs.
Tristan Neels (San Diego, Calif./Francis W. Parker) singled in the bottom of the fifth, but Gettysburg was kept scoreless by the Vassar infield. The Brewers tacked on another run in the top of the sixth by way of two walks, and error, and a single.
• In the bottom of the sixth, two walks put runners on first and second, and
Jack Pistner (Ellicot City, Md./Centennial) singled to second base. An error allowed the Bullets to score another run. • In the top of the eighth, the Brewers sent 14 runners to the plate, and scored nine runs on eight hits. Millstein had a two-run triple, and two doubles in a row by Kanellis and Daniel Laderman spurred the offense as they plated their final runs of the game, holding a 16-2 lead after the first half of the eighth.
• The Bullets scored their final two runs of the night in the bottom of the eighth, as two walks put runners on first and second. Two fielder's choices and a
Liam Gregory single brought in the last runs of the game for a 16-4 finish.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Vassar tallied 19 hits to Gettysburg's seven.

Tyler Hillson (Gettysburg, Pa./Delone Catholic) threw 2.2 innings, with three strikeouts and zero earned runs.
