INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA has announced the field for the 2023 Division III men's and women's outdoor track and field championship to be held at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex at St. John Fisher in Rochester, N.Y., on May 25-27 and Gettysburg junior Holly Ferrara (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) is among those invited.

Ferrara earned her second straight invitation in the javelin after a throw of 42.70 meters at the Widener Final Qualifier on Sunday.

Ferrara is a returning All-American after placing fourth at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field championship at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. She posted a throw of 43.07 meters last season to become the first thrower to earn All-America status in program history.

Ferrara enters the 2023 championship with the No. 11 mark. The field of 22 competitors will compete at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The top eight finishers earn All-America status.
