CAN'T WIN IF YOU DON'T SCORE: Shenandoah has posted huge shutouts in both of its early season wins. The Hornets toppled Washington & Jefferson 9-0 in the opener and Washington 4-0 on Saturday. Shenandoah has scored 14 goals this season - 13 of which have come in those two wins. Mairead McKibbon has been in the center of the offense early on, contributing four goals and two assists.
CENTENNIAL CALLING: Shenandoah plays its third straight game against a Centennial Conference opponent this afternoon. This is the rubber game for the Hornets, who dropped a 3-1 decision to Johns Hopkins last Sunday before defeating Washington on Saturday. This is the only of those three games that is on the road and the first contest outside of Winchester for Shenandoah.
