Today's non-conference game marks the second meeting between Gettysburg (2-2) and Bridgewater (2-3) in a series that dates back to 2015. The Bullets won the only previous meeting by a 4-0 margin on Sept. 17, 2005 in Gettysburg.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Meg Goddu collected two goals and Krissy Browning added a goal and an assist to lead Gettysburg over Bridgewater 4-0 on Sept. 17. The Eagles held Gettysburg to one goal in the first half despite the Bullets taking 16 shots and earning 11 penalty corners. In the half, Bridgewater goalie Frankee Waldron had six saves and her defense helped out with four defensive saves. Goddu scored the lone first half goal for the Bullets on an assist from Amy Morris. LAST TIME OUT: Shenandoah, ranked 25th in the latest NFHCA Div. III coaches' poll, bookended a Gettysburg third-quarter goal for a 3-1 victory last Wednesday. Andie Aloi led the Bullets with the team's lone goal. Gracie Wilkerson scored both third-quarter tallies for the Hornets. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

SPREADING THE LOVE: A total of seven different players have scored a goal for Gettysburg this season and 10 different players have registered at least one point. Andie Aloi and Charlotte Lacey were the latest to get in on the scoring last Wednesday when Aloi tipped home a Lacey shot off a penalty corner in the third quarter. Hailey Rhine is the only Bullet who has more than one goal this season and Morgan Cherry is the only player with multiple assists. 

YOU MATTER GAME: Today, the Gettysburg field hockey team is hosting a “You Matter Game” dedicated to suicide awareness and mental health.

LAST TIME OUT: Bridgewater dropped a close 2-1 contest at Stevenson on Saturday. Daphne Daymude was the lone goal scorer for the Eagles. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

HIGH FIVE: Bridgewater has recorded lopsided victories in its two wins this season, defeating both Meredith and Cedar Crest by 5-0 margins. In the three losses, the Eagles have scored a total of two goals and are being outscored 9-2. Lexi Francis and Kylie Amberger lead the team with three goals each.
