•
Olivia Biggs (Winchester, Va./James Wood) also tallied three blocks and put up seven kills.

Sophie Nasir (Covina, Calif./St. Lucy's Priory) racked up 23 assists to go with 10 digs.
FOR THE FOES
• Lacee Barnhart led the Nittany Lions' attack with five kills.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• A string of Gettysburg errors staked Penn State Altoona to a 3-0 lead to start the first set, but the Bullets quickly got things under control, with
Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck) kicking off a 6-0 run with a kill to get Gettysburg the 6-3 lead. An error halted the hosts momentarily, but they continued to grow their momentum, going off on a 12-6 tear to double up on the Nittany Lions 18-9. Four different Bullets contributed a kill within the stretch. From there, the teams went point-for-point until four Gettysburg kills put the Bullets at set point. A spike by
Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) put the first set to bed, 25-14.
• The Bullets got out to a hot start in set two, quickly doubling up on the Nittany Lions 10-5. Ulrich contributed three kills within the stretch. Penn State Altoona stayed in it, going 6-5 with the Bullets to close within four points. However, Gettysburg used a late 7-0 run fueled by
Brooke Lauletta (Coatesville, Pa./Downingtown East) kills and Nittany Lions errors to get to set point again doubled up on the visitors, 24-12. Penn State Altoona held the set two win out of reach for three more points as Gettysburg committed three straight errors, before a visitors' error allowed Gettysburg to grab the 25-15 set two win.
• Gettysburg saw an early lead swell to as many as six points early in the third and final set, but this set proved to be the most competitive as Penn State Altoona went 9-5 with Gettysburg to close within four, 16-12. Three straight points by the Nittany Lions trimmed the gap to just two points, forcing a Gettysburg timeout. Out of the break, Biggs and Lauletta each hammered a kill while Penn State Altoona committed two errors to again widen the gap to five at 21-16, and a 3-1 Gettysburg run got them to match point. Penn State Altoona grabbed two more points in the match off Gettysburg errors before making one themselves to give Gettysburg the 25-19 final set victory.
