Gettysburg College Athletics

Tonight's non-conference game marks the first-ever meeting between Gettysburg (1-6-1) and Hood (1-4-4).

LAST TIME OUT: Haverford capitalized on its only first-half shot and held off a Gettysburg threat for a 1-0 win on Saturday night. Zoe Want had the two best scoring opportunities for the Bullets – one in the first half and one in the second half. Phoebe Garfield tallied the lone goal of the game for the Fords. CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR: Seven of Gettysburg's eight games this season have been decided by one goal or fewer. The Bullets' lone tie this season was a scoreless deadlock at Shenandoah on Sept. 14. Gettysburg has dropped six 1-0 games this fall and has split a pair of 2-1 decisions.

LIKE A BAKERY: Hood has scored just one goal in nine games this season, topping Goucher 1-0 on Sept. 10. The Blazers have played four scoreless draws this season. Two of the team's four losses have been by a 1-0 count while the other two have been a 2-0 final.
