Today's Centennial Conference (CC) match marks the 43rd all-time meeting between Gettysburg (16-3, 2-2 CC) and Swarthmore (11-6, 4-0 CC) in a series that dates back to 1984. The Bullets lead the all-time series, 31-11. The Garnet, however, had won eight in a row before the Bullets recorded a 3-1 win last season in Swarthmore.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg only dropped one set to Swarthmore, winning three close sets for a 3-1 match win last season. Catherine Holtz and Mary Huegel each tallied nine kills. LAST TIME OUT: Franklin & Marshall raced out to a 13-4 lead in the first set en route to a 3-0 win over Gettysburg on Wednesday. Alycen Radolovic led the Bullets with 11 kills and five digs. Coco Shultz paced the Diplomats with 13 kills, five digs and two blocks. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

HITTING THE CENTURY MARK: Five of Gettysburg's hitters have hit the 100-kill mark this season. Alycen Radolovic is one kill shy of being the first Bullet this season to reach the 200-kill mark. She is averaging 2.93 kills per set. Erin Gonzalez is also averaging more than 2.00 kills per set this season, contributing 121 through 56 sets played this season. Catherine Holtz (114), Mary Huegel (110) and Clare Farrell (107) round out the quintet of hitters with more than 100 kills. Farrell has reach the century mark in just 53 sets played, averaging 2.02 per set.

LAST TIME OUT: Swarthmore traveled to DeSales on Friday night. Prior to that, the Garnet traveled to Michigan for a tournament at Hope last weekend. After defeating Baldwin-Wallace on Friday, Swarthmore was defeated by a pair of top-10 squads, snapping the Garnet's nine-match win streak. DOING IT WITH DEFENSE: Swarthmore enters the weekend ranked second in the conference in digs per set, averaging 15.75 per set. Melissa Eyer leads the Garnet defense with 255 digs this season, averaging 4.32 per set. That individual total is second in the league. She has recorded 20 or more digs in four matches this season, including a season-best 30 in a 3-2 home win over Mary Washington on Sept. 14. Four other Swarthmore players enter the weekend with no fewer than 94 digs. Madeline Mountcastle (131) and Alexia Enache (130) are 2-3 on the team.
