Gettysburg College Athletics

Tonight's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 30th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (2-9-4, 1-5-2 CC) and Franklin & Marshall (6-4-6, 4-1-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 1989. The Bullets lead the all-time series 26-9-2 but the Diplomats are 4-0-2 in the series since 2019.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Franklin & Marshall scored a goal late in each half to defeat Gettysburg 2-0 in the opening round of the 2023 Centennial Conference tournament. Alex Jurow led the Bullets with nine saves in goal. Zoe Warne finally broke through for the Diplomats with 5:40 to play in the opening half. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg scored a goal in each half to defeat Bryn Mawr 2-1 on Saturday. Jane Daiutolo scored both goals for the Bullets. Beatriz da Silva led the Owls with a goal in the opening half. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE: Jane Daiutolo recorded her first collegiate multi-goal game in a 2-1 win over Bryn Mawr on Saturday. She found the back of the net once in each half and now leads the team with four goals and nine points. The Bullets are 2-0 this season with scoring two or more goals in a game. In fact, the last time Gettysburg scored two or more goals in a game and did not win was a 2-all draw against Shenandoah on Sept. 7, 2022. 

LAST TIME OUT: Franklin & Marshall dropped its final non-conference game of the season on the road at Mary Washington 2-0 on Saturday. The Eagles started fast with the first goal of the game coming off a penalty kick in the seventh minute. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

WHAT'S THE SCENARIO?: Franklin & Marshall enters the final week of the regular season in fourth place in the conference standings. The Diplomats can secure a playoff berth with a win this evening and will be in a position to lock up a top-four seed and home game with a win over Washington on Saturday.
