LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the Gettysburg football team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Wednesday.
Michel Zrelak (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) earned first-team honors while
Ethan Ashcroft (Wyomissing, Pa./Wilson) earned second-team accolades.
Zrelak, a senior running back, earned all-conference honors for the first time. Starting all eight of 10 games, he led the team with 771 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. His 77.1 yards per game ranked third in the conference while his eight running scores was also third. He rushed for 56 or more yards in nine of the 10 games, including opening the season with 214 yards and four touchdowns on just 10 carries at Juniata. Zrelak is the first Bullet running back to earn first-team honors since Tom Sturges in 2007.
Ashcroft, a senior offensive lineman, earned his first spot on the all-conference team. Starting all 10 games at left tackle, he anchored an offensive line that paved the way for a rush offense that ran for 187.0 yards per game, which ranked second on the conference. The line also allowed two or fewer sacks in six games this season.

Peter Schelling (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) was Gettysburg's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
The Bullets finished the season with an overall record of 2-8 (1-5 CC).
