An Arianna Gerig jumper halted a 3-miunte, 23-second drought and put the Ephs back in front by one before an Ellie Tonunkara three-point play made it a 13-9 game after one quarter.
• After Logan Coster rattled home a foul-line jumper to start the second period, three points from Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) and four from Alanya Arnolie (Vienna, Va./James Madison) accounted for a 7-0 Gettysburg run to go back in front 16-15 with 5:33 showing. The teams traded baskets through the rest of the period until two Cortland McBarron free throws with 23 ticks remaining gave Williams a 24-23 edge at the break.
• McBarron made it a 26-23 game just 17 seconds into the third quarter but six straight points from the Bullets turned the three-point deficit into a three-point lead with 7:20 showing. Trailing 30-29, AB Holsinger drained a triple for a 32-30 advantage with 5:38 to play. Mott canned a triple for a 42-40 lead but Micah Walton responded with a runner just as the third quarter expired to draw the game even heading to the fourth quarter.
• Holsinger connected on a layup for a 44-42 lead in the opening 98 seconds of the fourth quarter before the Bullets scored two layups in transition 14 seconds apparat for their largest lead of the game, forcing a timeout with 6:45 remaining. The lead swelled to 10 for the first double-digit lead by either team with 4:52 to play before a Gerig three-point play cut the margin to 52-45 with 4:36 remaining. Gerig added another four free throws and Tounkara hit a wing triple to tie the game with a 10-0 run over just 1 minute, 20 seconds. After two Violante free throws put Gettysburg back in front, Walton hit a pair of baskets to give the Ephs the lead once again 56-54 with 1:53 to play.
