OPENING TIP: Today's non-conference game marks the third all-time meeting between No. 8 Gettysburg (8-0) and Salisbury (6-2) in a series that dates back to 2002. The series is tied at 1-all with each team winning on its home court over the last two seasons.

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg finished the first half with a five-point advantage over Salisbury but the Sea Gulls outshot the Bullets in the second half to finish with an 80-74 victory last season in Salisbury. Akim Joseph led the Bullets with 19 points, six rebonds, and three steals. Carl Schaller finished with 16 points, five steals, and three assists. Cameron Heard and Jordan Oates put up 26 and 25 points, respectively. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg built a 17-point second-half and staved off an attempted rally from Stevenson to record a 72-62 road win. Jordan Stafford led the Bullets with 20 points, including hitting 3 of 6 from long range. He also had six rebounds and two assists. Carl Schaller contributed 18 points, five rebounds and two assists. Mason Jones led the Mustangs with 18 points and 13 rebounds. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ISN'T HE GRAND: With a jumper just over five minutes in to the second half at Bryn Athyn on Nov. 19, Carl Schaller became the 27th player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark for his career. He enters today's game with 1,064 career points and is just four points from moving into the top 20 on the all-time scoring list at Gettysburg. Schaller is the first new entrant into the 1,000-point club since Nick Antonlini joined the club in 2020. Schaller's classmate Jordan Stafford enters today just 71 points shy of adding a 28th name to the list.

LAST TIME OUT: Salisbury used a late offensive outburst to earn a third consecutive victory on Wednesday evening, handling Washington (Md.) 74-45 Chestertown. Jordan Oates logged his third consecutive 20-point outing, finishing one board shy of his sixth double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Oates also rejected four shots. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

No other Salisbury player has more than 5.0 boards per contest. He has scored in double figures over the last seven games, including three straight 20-point outings and four overall this season. He had 12 or more rebounds in five of six games, capped with a 21-rebound performance against Gallaudet last Saturday.
