THE REST OF THE STORY
• Triple from
AB Holsinger around an
Alayna Arnolie fast-break jumper staked Gettysburg to an 8-0 lead just 1:37 into the game. Six points from Raegan Lenz closed the margin to 10-4 with 4:54 to play but Holsinger and
Mackenzie Szlosek canned 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to extend the lead to double digits for the fist time just 67 seconds later. Szlosek scored the final five points of the period to extend the lead to 21-8 after one quarter.
• McDaniel scored six of the first seven points in the second quarter to trim the margin to 22-14 with 6:20 showing but
Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) drained a trey and then added a layup to push the lead back to 13 just over three minutes later. An Arnolie steal-and-layup in the final minute made it a 32-17 game at the break.
• The Bullets netted the first six points of the third quarter to make it a 21-point advantage with 6:25 remaining. The lead stayed between 19 and 22 points until a Szlosek layup and Arnolie 3-pointer in the final 1:19 of the third quarter extended the lead to 50-24.
• The teams traded points to start the final period until a Carli Vogel layup made it 54-32 with 3:34 showing but the Green Terror could get no closer than 18.

Emily Violante finished with nine points and four rebounds.
• Gettysburg enters the regular-season finale on Saturday tied with Johns Hopkins atop the conference standings. If both teams win on Saturday, a coin flip will be needed to determine the top seed in next week's conference tournament. • The Bullets finished with a 40-31 rebounding advantage while the defense held McDaniel to 26.5 percent shooting from the floor.
