•
Patrick Maroney (Hingham, Mass./Boston College H.S.) got a second-chance shot off in the beginning of the second quarter for his first collegiate tally to tie the game yet again. Goals within 30 seconds of one another by Finn Schmidt and Gettysburg's
Jackson Hearn (Houston, Texas/Episcopal Bellaire) tied the score once more, and with 6:18 showing in the half, Hearn dished to
Quinton Mather (Avon, Conn./Avon Old Farms) for Gettysburg's first lead of the day. Maroney put up two more in a 90 second space to make a 7-4 Bullets advantage going into half.
• Two goals within 45 seconds by Kessler and Mather stretched Gettysburg's lead to five goals, and Mather added another to complete the hat trick and make it a 10-4 margin. The Hornets got their first goal in almost 14 minutes of play from Rust, and added another from Kolbe Haug to trim the gap to four goals. In the final 5:35 of the quarter,
