GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Ethan Kessler (Ridgefield, Conn./Millbrook School), a sophomore on the Gettysburg men's lacrosse team, has been named USA Lacrosse Magazine Division III Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18.

Kessler, who claimed Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive Player of the Week honors, led the sixth-ranked Bullets (1-0) to a season-opening win over then-eighth-ranked Lynchburg on Saturday. He scored four goals on seven shots and added a ground ball in the 15-10 victory.

Gettysburg returns to action at No. 1 Salisbury on Saturday. Game time is 1 p.m.
