THE SKINNY STORY
Trailing by three at halftime, Gettysburg held Dickinson to six points through the first 10:47 of the second half and single digits through the opening 14:25, building a 19-point lead in the process to record a 66-53 road win.
THE LEADERS

Nate Williams (Morganville, N.J./St. John Vianney) led the Bullets with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./St. Joseph Hammonton) added 13 as another of six players to score eight or more points.

Akim Joseph (Port-au-Prince, Haiti/Notre Dame Fairfield [Conn.]) chipped in 11 points and a game-high 12 rebounds while also dishing out three assists.

• Behind three layups, Dickinson jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the game's first 2:33. A
Jordan Stafford pull-up jumper and four points from
Aidan Mess (Brookeville, Md./Mt. St. Joseph) led to a 6-2 response that trimmed the margin to one with 15:07 to play. The Red Devils scored the next five, however, to go back in front 13-7 with 12:32 remaining.
Ryan McKeon (Landenberg, Pa./Sanford [Del.]) connected on a hook shot to give the Bullets their first lead at 18-17 with 8:58 remaining. The teams then traded the lead seven times over the next four and a half minutes before Skyler Venezia scored five straight points to stretch the hosts' lead to 30-24 and force a timeout with 3:13 showing.
Antonello Baggi (Cremona, Italy/West Deptford [N.J.]) drained a corner trey out of the stoppage to cut the deficit in half en route to a 32-29 game at the break.

Nate Williams converted a three-point play on the opening possession of the second half to tie the game just 26 seconds into the period. The run extended to nine straight to start the second half and 11-0 going back to the final 18 seconds of the first half to open up a 38-32 lead just 1:46 into the second half. Nate Ogbu snapped a 5-minute, 9-second drought with a foul-line jumper at the 16:42 mark. Those would be the only two points of a run that would extend to 16-2 when McKeon converted a three-point play for the team's largest lead at 43-34 with 15:35 on the clock. The lead gradually grew as large as 19 on two
Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) free throws with 6:33 to play that made it a 60-41 game en route to the 13-point victory.
THE INSIDE STORY
• With a Johns Hopkins win over Franklin & Marshall, Gettysburg is now in a two-way tie with the Blue Jays atop the CC standings with three games to play and holds the head-to-head tiebreaker.
• The Bullets finished with a 39-30 rebounding advantage and shot 44.9 percent from the floor, including 48.1 percent in the second half.
