FIRST PITCH: Today's non-conference doubleheader marks the 13th and 14th all-time meetings between Gettysburg (9-5) and Mary Washington (11-7) in a series that dates back to 2016. The Bullets lead the all-time series 7-5 and snapped a four-game Eagles winning streak in the series with an 11-0 game-two win last season.

LAST SEASON'S SERIES: One game after stranding five runners in a 4-0 shutout loss to Mary Washington, Gettysburg turned the tables and pounded out 12 hits and scored five times in the top of the first en route to an 11-0, five-inning win in game two. Lauren O'Leary led the Bullets with three hits in the doubleheader, adding two RBIs and two runs scored. Emma Schieda was 2-for-2 with a walk in the opener for the Eagles. (Full Recap) (Game 1 Box) (Game 2 Box)

LAST TIME OUT: After dropping a game-one pitchers' duel, Gettysburg jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the nightcap and ultimately defeated Messiah, 11-5. The Falcons took game one 2-1 after scoring twice in the bottom of the sixth on Thursday. Giovanna Komst led the Bullets with two hits in each game. She also had two RBIs. Kandice Schlabach led the Falcons with four hits on the afternoon. (Full Recap) (Game 1 Box Score) (Game 2 Box Score)

GAME TWO IS A GOOD TIME FOR FIRSTS: A pair of Bullets recorded collegiate first in the second game at Messiah on Thursday. Morgan DeFreitas blasted her first collegiate home run in the 11-5 victory. She made that long ball really count, taking a 2-2 pitch with the bases loaded to straightaway center field to make her first homer a grand slam and give her team a 10-0 lead in the fourth inning. Carlie Goldstein had her first collegiate three-hit outing in the contest as well. Two of her three knocks went for extra-base hits with a second-inning double and third-inning triple. She also drove in three runs in the game.

LAST TIME OUT: Mary Washington swept its doubleheader with Randolph on Wednesday in Fredericksburg, winning the opener 9-6 and game two, 8-4. (Full Recap) (Game 1 Box Score) (Game 2 Box Score)
