• The team of Dondes and
Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J./Summit) won at first doubles, 8-4. At second doubles,
Catherine Haley (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) and
Kate Alianiello (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) took another 8-4 decision and Gettysburg won by default at third doubles to stake the Bullets to a 3-0 lead.
• A win by default at sixth singles by
Mia Graham (Pennellville, N.Y./John C. Birdlebough) was followed by a 6-2, 6-3 victory for Levkov at first singles to clinch the match. Haley and
Tierney Cantwell (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) each won tiebreakers to claim wins at second and fifth singles, respectively. Alianiello rounded out the singles competition with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at fourth singles.
