Capital scored three runs in three separate innings on the way to a 10-4 victory over Gettysburg.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• A
David Preziuso (Selbyville, Del./Caravel Academy) double and
Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) single plated the first run of the game for the Bullets in the bottom of the first. Capital countered with two runs in the top of the next inning, scoring on two doubles and a Gettysburg throwing error.
• The Bullets closed the gap to one run in the bottom of the third. After two straight walks put runners on first and second,
Alexey Stout (Wall, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) doubled down the left field line to make it a 3-2 game.
• In the top of the fourth, two singles, a walk, and two hit batters scored two runs for Capital. A sacrifice fly plated a third run for a 6-2 Capital lead.
• Gettysburg got one back in the bottom of the fifth off a
Tristan Neels (San Diego, Calif./Francis W. Parker) single and two walks. However, Capital retained control with a three-RBI home run in the top of the sixth for a 9-4 advantage. Capital scored their final run in the top of the ninth with two walks and a double play.
