FIRST PITCH: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 130th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (13-15, 2-5 CC) and McDaniel (14-10, 5-2 CC) in a series that dates back to 1888. The Bullets lead the all-time series 87-39-3 but the Green Terror won Tuesday's game in Westminster.
LAST SEASON'S SERIES: In a back-and-forth battle that saw a slew of base runners and pitchers for both teams, Gettysburg pulled out the win over McDaniel 12-10 in Westminster last season. David Preziuso went 4-for-6, with four runs, one RBI, and one stolen base to lead the Bullets offensively. Hunter Kelly recorded four extra-base hits, with three doubles and one triple. Three days later in Gettysburg, the two teams played another back-and-forth battle, this time to extra innings with Gettysburg completing the sweep 10-8 in 10 innings. JR McCloskey went 3-for-4 on the day, with a double, triple, and one RBI to go with two runs. Connor Uhrig had two home runs on the day for the Green Terror.
