THE SKINNY STORY
Swarthmore withstood a late game two rally from Gettysburg to complete a sweep. The Garnet captured game one 11-3 before taking the nightcap, 10-8.

THE LEADERS
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Bullets with a with two hits in each game, including a game-one home run.

FOR THE FOES
• Jeff Shue led the Garnet with four hits on the day that included a three-hit opener with three extra-base hits.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the opener, Benjamin Buchman was hit by a pitch with one out in the bottom of the second before moving to second on a throwing error and scoring on a Jeff Shue triple. Joe Radak followed with a sacrifice fly to make it 2-0.
• A David Preziuso (Selbyville, Del./Caravel Academy) leadoff single and Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) one-out home run a half inning later tied the game at 2-all.
• Swarthmore, however, used another Shue triple and Radek double to take the lead for good in the home fourth.
• The Garnet tacked on four more runs in the sixth courtesy of four singles around an Aidan Sullivan RBI double.
• Four straight hits to start the seventh stretched the lead to 9-2. Shue started with a double before a Radek bunt single and Wilson Henze single scored Shue and put runners at the corners. After he was caught trying to steal second, Kaiden Rosenbaum doubled down the line to plate Radek.
• A Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) pinch-hit home run in the top of the eighth made it 9-3 but a hit batter, Buchman double and Shue sacrifice fly set the final margin in the bottom of the frame.
• In game two, Kody Clausius (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) led off the second with a walk before an Adam Hicks (Edgewater, Md./Gilman School) single put runners at second and third. A wild pitch and one-out Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) single down the line staked Gettysburg to a 2-0 lead.
• A two-run Sullivan triple and Matthew Silvestre RBI groundout in the home third gave Swarthmore a 3-2 edge.
• Preziuso led off the fifth with a single before scoring on a two-out Clausius double to tie the game but a single, walk and three-run Sullivan home run in the bottom of the frame gave the hosts a 6-3 lead. Buchman added a two-out solo run to stretch the advantage to 7-3.
• A Preziuso walk and Burke triple to start the seventh made it 7-4 before Pistner singled home Burke to make it 7-5. Pistner then scored on a rundown in a first-third situation to cut the margin to one.
• A Silvestre one-out long ball in the bottom of the seventh pushed the lead back to two before a pair of walks and two-out Radek single made it 9-6.
• The Bullets once again closed to within one in the top of the eighth, taking advantage of an error and wild pitch to go with a Preziuso RBI single but the Garnet tacked on an insurance run in the home half on a balk. Gettysburg got the tying run on base with two outs in the ninth but Jack Fitzgerald got his fourth strikeout in relief to lock down the save.

THE INSIDE STORY
Jack Pistner went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in game one.
David Preziuso had a 4-for-4 game two while Will Stellato (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) and Robert Murphy each had three knocks. Pistner and Jack Burke each had two hits in the nightcap.
