THE SKINNY STORY
Dickinson, ranked seventh in the latest USILA national poll, held just a one-goal lead over 19th-ranked Gettysburg at halftime, but the Red Devils outscored the Bullets 6-3 in the second half to pave the path to a 12-8 conference win.

Jack Dunleavy (New Providence, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) led the Bullets with four goals.

• Matt Thurston scored five goals to pace the Red Devils.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Quinton Mather (Avon, Conn./Avon Old Farms) scored the first goal of the game in the opening 3:40, finishing a solo run. Matt Thurston responded in a big way for the Red Devils, scoring four of his five goals on the day back-to-back, creating his own 4-0 run over just about four minutes. Colin Williams chipped in one more for the hosts, who led 5-1 after the first period.

Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) converted off a quick
Michael Voehringer (West Chester, Pa./Malvern Prep) faceoff win, scoring in the first 14 seconds to bring the deficit back to three. Goals by
Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) and Mather over the next four minutes cut the gap to just one goal. With nine minutes showing, Sam Campbell brought the Red Devils' lead back to two with an an unassisted goal, but Dunleavy scored his first of the day in the final 57 seconds of the first half to trail by just one goal, 5-4, at halftime.
• Dunleavy wasted no time tying the game in the second half, scoring just 57 seconds into the third period. Sascha Gannon and James Isaacson reestablished the two-goal Dickinson lead with two goals in a 45 second span, and the lead ballooned back to four goals by the 5:53 mark. With just over four minutes in the quarter, a man-up opportunity allowed Dunleavy to finish a
Stokes Myers (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) pass to cut the gap back to three as the Red Devils led 10-7 going into the final quarter.
• Isaacson scored Dickinson's 11th goal of the game off a Gettysburg failed clear, but the Bullets won the ensuing faceoff and Voehringer got the assist on the Dunleavy run to cage. That would be the last goal Gettysburg would net, with Colin Williams adding one more to set the final 12-8 margin.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Dickinson outshot Gettysburg 44-29.

Chase Morgan (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) made 13 saves in goal for the Bullets.
• Dickinson doubled up on the Bullets in faceoff wins, 16-8.
