THE REST OF THE STORY

• The Bullets got on the board in the top of the sixth after
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) doubled and advanced to third on a flyout. A groundout by
Adam Hicks (Edgewater, Md./Gilman School) brought Pistner home for a 4-1 score. Hood tallied three hits over the next two innings but neither team could score as the three-run margin held until the ninth inning.
• In the top of the ninth, Hicks led off with a single before stealing second.
Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) drew a walk before a double by
Will Stellato brought both runners home. A double play by the Blazers made it two outs for
David Preziuso (Selbyville, Del./Caravel Academy), who singled to bring home the final run before a game-ending flyout.
