THE SKINNY STORY
Franklin & Marshall won all three doubles matches and needed just two singles victories to knock Gettysburg from playoff contention, winning the Centennial Conference tournament first round match, 5-0.
THE LEADERS

Ellie Brignati (Rockville Centre, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) went to a tiebreaker in the first set of her sixth singles match and played a competitive match at third doubles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Franklin & Marshall won each doubles match. The second doubles team of
Gillian Rozenfeld (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) and
Sarah Guistwite (Carlisle, Pa./Wilson Hill Academy) and third team
Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va./Meridan) and
Ellie Brignati both dropped an 8-6 decision.
• The Diplomats won at fifth and sixth singles to earn the 5-0 match decision. At sixth singles, Brignati battled to a 5-7 first set before dropping the second set 0-6. Franklin & Marshall's Amelia Squires dropped
Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J./Summit) 6-2, 6-1.

Andrea Brazyte (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot), Guiswite, and
Avery Palandjian (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Twp.) were all winning their first, second, and third singles matches, respectively, when the match reached decision and ended. Brazyte had won her first set, 6-0, and was leading 5-3 in the second set. Guistwite and Palandjian both won their first set 6-4, and Palandjian led her second set 4-2.
