THE SKINNY STORY
Sewanee struck first but a goal in the final 11 minutes of the second half brought Gettysburg back square before the hosts capitalized early in the second half for a 2-1 win in the season opener for both teams.

Ean Malay (Exeter, N.H./Exeter) found the back of the net to turn his first goal for the Bullets into a game-winner.

• Tyler Scott staked the Tigers to an early lead.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Will Pucek found a waiting Tyler Scott on the nearside of the box off a corner in the eighth minute for a 1-0 lead. That lead held until
Aidan Muller (Cape Town, South Africa/Putnam Science Academy) sent a through ball off the end line past the Sewanee keeper and
Cole McCartney knocked it home inside the back post in the 36th minute to make it a 1-all game, which held until halftime.
• Just over two minutes into the second half,
Dylan Capazario (Johannesburg, South Africa/McCallie School [Tenn.]) took a shot from point-blank range that rebounded out to
Ean Malay, who punched home the rebound and the defense took over from there.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Gettysburg finished with a 10-8 edge in shots, holding a slim edge in both halves. Sewanee earned nine corner kicks to the Bullets' five.

Leandro Ribeiro (Bahia, Salvador City, Brazil/Putnam Science Academy) made three saves in his first collegiate start in goal.
